Terms and Conditions

Business Scope

Stitched at West40 (TM) operates exclusively within Illinois and does not conduct business outside the United States.

Orders & Acceptance

All items are custom-made to order. Orders are not final until confirmed. Once production begins, all sales are final.

Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at stitched@west40.org. Cancellations may only be possible if production has not yet begun. Once embroidery production starts, the order cannot be canceled or changed.

Pricing, Payment & Tax

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
Payment must be made in full at the time of order using secure payment options on our website.
Our website is powered by the Wix eCommerce platform, and all payment transactions are securely processed through Wix’s integrated payment partners in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
We do not retain or store payment details locally.
Sales Tax: Applicable sales tax will be added to non-tax-exempt transactions in accordance with Illinois law.
Tax-Exempt Transactions: Organizations that qualify for tax exemption under Illinois law must provide a valid tax-exempt certificate. The certificate should be emailed to us at stitched@west40.org to confirm eligibility. Once confirmed, we will send you an invoice that excludes taxes. This verification is a one-time process and will remain valid for future orders until the tax-exempt certificate expires. Upon expiration, a new, valid certificate must be submitted before additional tax-exempt purchases can be processed. Production of a tax-exempt order will begin after payment for the tax-adjusted invoice has been received and processed. Tax exemptions cannot be retroactively applied after payment is processed.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be handled in Cook County, Illinois.
